Graduation Anyone?

So, Nic's younger brother Austin graduated about a month back. His graduation was incredible compared to mine. I actually got completely depressed throughout the program. My graduation was so....worthless. I guess when you only have 290 graduates, and a really REALLY small budget, things just don't flow so well. I guess the only thing that matters is that I graduated. Anyhow, I really enjoyed it, and realized how much I've been missing all my life. Congratulations Austin!

Catch up!

After two months of delay, I'm finally ready to put some pictures up of our Golfing/Engagement spree. We love to multi-task.

Before we left, compliments of Tiff! I still had no clue!

He played surprisingly well, considering how nervous he was : )
Look at that form!

I'll be honest, I wasn't too shabby...I only hit one house.

When he finally popped the question at the 18th hole, I think its safe to say we were both happy campers...or golfers : )

Our Story

As I said in my earlier post, I got engaged a little over a week ago! We have the best fairytale story, can't be topped. We met about two years ago in Albany, Georgia. I was going to school and living as a college student, and he was a missionary serving in the area for our church. I wish I could say it was love at first sight, but I can't. I still remember that first night, it was volleyball night, and I did find him attractive, but nothing more. We just talked to eachother when we ran into eachother nothing big. Eventually he got transferred to a small town called Thomasville, which happened to be my hometown. Even though we were nothing more than friends, (or so I thought) I was pretty dissapointed, but it faded within a few weeks. Whenever I went home for the weekends, I always made it a point to talk to this missionary, partly because he was a friend and partly because there was no one else to talk to in my ward. Eventually I moved back for the summer, and that's when I realized that I really liked this boy! I don't think I did too great of a job on hiding it. I knew he was the one, and I let everyone know, except him of course. : ) He still had a few months of his mission left, so patience was tested to the fullest! He went home to Texas on October 29th and I got a phone call from him on the 30th. After a few flights back and forth we decided a move needed to happen. So here I am, living with one of his sisters, Tiff and her family! She's the one that got me started with all this. After a few months of figuring everything out, I got a bright sparkly ring!

The Start of a lot of Things

Unlike a lot of other people, I always thought that a blog would be a lot of fun. However I also thought that they were just for married woman with children. My life comparatively would be lifeless and uneventful. I did promise a couple of months ago that when or if I was to become engaged, I would start one. Last Saturday my boyfriend popped the question...so here we go!
